How to Post a Job on JeffGaulin.com

    • Jeff Gaulin's Journalism Job Board is Canada's leading web site for employment in the media and communications industry, attracting more than 4-million hits and and more than a hundred different jobs every month.

    Our service is simple – send us the job, we post it online and send you a bill. The resumes will start arriving directly to you within hours. The hardest part for you will be sifting through tons of resumes!

    Our Services & Prices

    We offer two types of job-posting services:

    Basic Service = $75 + GST

    Your job gets posted promptly and appears as one of the 14 “most recent jobs” in our database. This job can remain within the database for two months. As more new jobs are added to the list, it descends the “most recent jobs” list, until it comes off the home page and remains within the searchable database until your deadline (or two months, whichever comes first).

    N.B. If you are using one job description but are clearly recruiting multiple individuals -- such as a single job posting for three news reporters – then the $75 fee applies to each job. In this case, it would be 3 X $75 = $225.

    Premium Service = $200 + GST

    Your job gets posted promptly and appears as one of the five “featured jobs” on the home page. This job can remain in the “featured jobs” box for two weeks. At the end of your two weeks, your job is removed from the site. It is a shorter run, but your job is guaranteed to be seen daily for two weeks by everyone who visits the site.

    N.B. This is a very popular service and orders are on a first-come, first-serve basis. These spots are usually on back order, so if you request this service your job may first be posted as a regular job and then converted to a featured job for a two-week run.

    Our Process

    Step 1: Send me your job information in any one of the following three ways.

    1. Complete the form below (preferred)
    2. E-mail your job to jobs@jeffgaulin.com.
    3. Fax your job to (403) 374-0625.
    If you do not see your job online within 24 hours, please let e-mail me at jeff@jeffgaulin.com to confirm I have received it.

    Step 2: I post your job online within 24 hours and send you an invoice in return by the method you select – PDF via e-mail, fax or post. Alternatively, you can pay immediately online through PayPal.

    Step 3: You pay the invoice and select the best candidate from the resumes you receive from people who see your job on this site.
