He has focused on issues of indigenous peoples, including attending the first session of the UN's Permanent Forum on Indigenous Peoples, and human rights.
Along the way he has developed a knack for creating people-focused stories that deal with complex issues in a clear, compelling way.
From 2007-2009 he served as Spokesperson of the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Nepal.
