Bio: |
I am an ambitious and enthusiastic writer who is looking to create stories that will capture the readers' attention and leave them well-informed about any given issue. I've recently graduated from the Graduate Diploma in Journalism program from Concordia University and am currently pursuing a Master's in Digital Innovation in Journalism, for which I've received the Campaign for a New Millenium Graduate Scholarship.
I have experience in researching and writing about a variety of topics, including politics, technology, business developments and community events. My work has been published by CBC Montreal, The 1019 Report, The 1510 West, Supply Chain Canada, Municipal Monitor and Sheet Metal Works, to name a few. I have experience in writing about climate change and environmental protection through a 6-month internship with Global Green News.
My work in both journalism and communications alongside seasoned journalists has helped me hone my knowledge of CP style writing and copy editing, as well as familiarity with the journalistic landscape of Quebec and Canada as a whole. I am able to research and conduct interviews in both English and French.
I am currently looking for freelance/part-time work. I take pride in my writing and always ensure that I deliver high-quality pieces of written work, no matter the subject, nor the deadline.
