Description

The Independent is looking for a full-time court and civic affairs reporter.

This is a a position through the Local Journalism Initiative however for the right person the position will continue whether the grant is renewed or not. 

Qualifications

  • Applicants should have either a college diploma or university degree in journalism and someone with experience in any media field will be preferred. 
  • Please provide samples of your reporting (clippings or with URLs) and two work references 
  • They'll also have their own car and be able to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
