Description
Global Public Affairs (Global) is looking for a Director, Communications to join our Toronto, Ontario office.
Toronto’s fastest growing public affairs firm is recruiting an experienced Communications Professional to join Global’s expanding Strategic Communications Practice.
Reporting to the Vice President, Strategic Communications, this position offers a positive work environment and the opportunity to grow a business and collaborate with colleagues across the country.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, well-organized, proactive, strategic, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and is expected to have 8-10 years of progressive experience in the field of communications.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, client and service-oriented, organized when dealing with multiple, complex projects, and enjoys working in a fast-paced team atmosphere. Multi-disciplinary communications experience, such as digital communications, media relations or issues management is required. Experience working in government or alongside government relations teams is not required but would be considered an asset.

Salary will be commensurate with experience; the position starts at $110,000.00.
